STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Hue Journal of Economic and Management Sciences (HJEM) is dedicated to fostering academic development, disseminating scientific knowledge, and consistently upholding high academic quality, scientific integrity, and transparency in peer review and publication. The Journal affirms its mission to serve as a bridge between scholarly research and practical application.

Publishing high-quality scientific research: The Journal is committed to publishing scholarly works that contribute new theoretical or empirical insights in the fields of economics, business administration, finance–accounting, public administration, logistics, and other related disciplines.

Promoting rigorous research standards and academic integrity: HJEM applies a transparent, double-blind peer review process and strictly adheres to national and international research ethics standards to ensure objectivity, honesty, and scientific integrity in all published works.

Linking research with practical development in Vietnam and Beyond: The Journal welcomes studies that address practical challenges, support policymaking, enhance competitiveness, promote digital transformation and innovation, and contribute to sustainable development amid the Fourth Industrial Revolution, artificial intelligence, and evolving national governance models.

Enhancing international integration and scientific cooperation: With two English-language issues published annually, the Journal provides a platform for academic exchange among domestic and international scholars, expands opportunities for research collaboration, and gradually integrates into regional and global indexing systems and citation networks, thereby elevating the visibility and reputation of Vietnamese scholars in the international academic community.

Acting as a bridge between academia, businesses, and policymakers: HJEM aims to foster knowledge exchange among researchers, managers, policymakers, enterprises and the broader community, while disseminating impactful research findings that contribute to socio-economic development.

HJEM welcomes interest and contributions from researchers, lecturers and students in Vietnam and around the world. HJEM invites new submissions that address emerging themes related to economics, business, management, and finance in both Vietnam and in the world. We are equally open to new studies with practical applications, practical case-study analyses, and evidence-based policy recommendations that employ new analytical methods and scientific methods.
