INSTRUCTIONS AND REGULATIONS FOR SUBMISSIONS

GUIDELINES FOR MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION
(HUE Journal of Economics and Management – HJEM)

The HUE Journal of Economics and Management accepts manuscripts reporting research results with scientific, theoretical, and practical value in the fields of economics, management, and related areas. Submitted manuscripts must not have been previously published in any domestic or international media. The Journal is circulated nationwide and publishes full-text articles on its official website.

  1. Formatting Requirements

Manuscripts must be written in Vietnamese and prepared using Microsoft Word or OpenOffice, using Unicode encoding and Times New Roman font, size 12.

  • Paper size: A4
  • Margins:
    • Left: 2.0 cm
    • Right: 2.0 cm
    • Top: 2.54 cm
    • Bottom: 1.54 cm
  • Header: 1.27 cm
  • Footer: 0.75 cm
  • Line spacing: Multiple 1.2
  • Length: Maximum 10–15 pages, including figures, tables, and references
  • The text should not use compressed or expanded spacing; layout must be clear and consistent
  1. Manuscript Structure

Submissions must include two separate files:

File 1: Author and Manuscript Information

  • Title of the manuscript
  • Author information: academic title/degree, position, affiliation, contact address, phone number, and email

File 2: Main Manuscript Content

(1) Title

  • Concise and accurately reflecting the research content (no more than 20 words)
  • Uppercase, bold, font size 14, centered

(2) Abstract

  • Length: 150–200 words
  • Includes objectives, methodology, main results, and conclusions

(3) Keywords

  • 3–5 keywords placed immediately below the Abstract

(4) Main Text
Includes the following sections:

  • Introduction
  • Literature Review
  • Methodology
  • Results and Discussion

Requirements:

  • The manuscript must present novel findings with scientific and/or practical value
  • Figures, tables, and illustrations must be numbered consecutively and clearly presented; images must be scanned and inserted in appropriate positions within the text

(5) Acknowledgements (if any)

  • Not exceeding 25 words
  • Written in a standard format:
    • “The author(s) would like to thank …”
    • Or specify funding source: “This research is funded by …”

(6) Citations and References

  • Follow APA 7th edition style
  • Only include references cited in the manuscript
  • Maximum: 15 references

(7) Additional Requirements for Vietnamese Manuscripts

  • Must include Title, Abstract, and Keywords in English

  • The Editorial Office will confirm receipt of the submission
  • The Journal reserves the right to reject manuscripts that violate copyright, involve plagiarism, or fail to comply with these guidelines; rejected manuscripts will not be returned
  • Authors are fully responsible to the Editorial Board, the law, and public opinion for compliance with the Press Law and Intellectual Property Law
